Our Coffee

Yes, all of our beans are grown at high altitude on exotic small-estate farm locations.

Yes, we only use specialty grade coffee with an SCA score of 81 or higher for all of our roasts. Depending on the roast, the score may vary, however, no roast we sell scores below 81.

Yes, we take pride in knowing all of our beans are responsibly sourced.

No, we would never knowingly or willingly source from a farm that uses child or slave labor. This goes against everything we stand for as a small family-owned business.

We work with a trusted supplier who ensures that all beans are responsibly sourced and meet high ethical standards. While we don’t directly oversee the farms, we choose suppliers who share our values and are committed to fair and ethical labor practices.

Additionally, our Fair-Trade and USDA organic certified roasts take extra measures to ensure our cooperative farmers and their communities are compensated well and kept safe from illegal and immoral practices.

Yes, our coffees are Kosher compliant. All our roasts are specialty grade and 100% botanical. Additionally, they are never infused and contain no flavoring or animal byproducts. They are 100% Arabica beans roasted by artisan roasters in small batches.

Rest assured, every single one of our coffees is completely gluten-free. We take great care in the production process, as we never flavor infuse or use additives.

All of our beans are processed by hand via wet/washed processing and natural/dry processing methods. We do not process via "Anaerobic Fermentation" or any other related fermentation processes.

Yes, it’s completely normal! While oily beans are often associated with darker roasts, the shine on your medium roast beans from General Warfield’s Coffee is from natural oils released during the roasting process, especially when freshly roasted. All of our coffees are specialty grade and freshly roasted, so sit back, savor, and enjoy the world-class flavor!

An 8oz cup of our coffee generally contains around 90-100mg of caffeine.

To safeguard the quality and flavor of your freshly roasted coffee, we utilize high oxygen barrier film in our packaging. This ensures optimal protection against oxidation and extends the longevity of your coffee.

Yes, all of our pouches include degassing valves positioned at the rear of the pouch to prevent the accumulation of gas.

All of our coffee roasts are carefully roasted and packaged in an FDA registered and approved facility.

Because we only roast in small batches, we roast anywhere from 50 to 100 pounds at a time depending on demand. This is to ensure maximum flavor and freshness.

The facility holds various certifications such as USDA & WSDA, Organic, Kosher Check, BPI Compostable, and Fair Trade. It is also registered and approved by the FDA.

Coffee Storage

For optimal coffee storage, keep it in a dark, dry place, away from light. Ensure the container is sealed airtight at room temperature (68-77°F or 20-25°C). After opening the bag, use the valve to remove any excess air.

Shipping rates within the United States based on purchase price:

  • $0-$39.99 shipping is $4.99
  • $40+ Free Shipping

Speed: 5-8 business days (may vary during certain holidays or weather conditions)

- Regional deliveries may take between 1-4 business days within the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.

- International rates and times will be calculated at checkout

Order Fulfillment and Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Orders will be shipped to the exact address provided by the customer during checkout. If an address is incomplete or invalid, the shipment may be delayed, returned to us, or deemed undeliverable by the carrier.

Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an invalid address, "no such number," or similar issue, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees to resend the package to a corrected address.

We are unable to provide refunds for packages returned due to customer address errors.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package leaves our facility and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, General Warfield’s Coffee, LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If tracking indicates the package was delivered but the customer believes it was stolen, we recommend filing a claim with the shipping carrier or contacting local authorities.

Shipping Claims

Customers must notify us of any missing or undelivered packages within 30 days of the shipping date, providing the order number and tracking details. Claims filed after this period may not be eligible for review or resolution.

Delivery Confirmation

Tracking information is provided with all shipments. Customers are encouraged to monitor their package and contact the shipping carrier for assistance with delivery issues.

Address Changes:

Before Shipping: If you realize you've entered incorrect shipping information, please contact us immediately at info@generalwarfieldscoffee.com. We will do our best to accommodate changes before the order is shipped.

After Shipping: We cannot alter the shipping address once the package has been shipped.

Note: By placing an order with us, you agree to this shipping policy and acknowledge that we are not liable for delivery issues arising from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
